| What is a Cabin Guarantee (GTY,
GUAR or ROS)? |
A cabin guarantee means that you have reserved a specific
cabin category, but you have not yet been assigned a specific
cabin. And is a great way of getting an upgrade, but that
not guarantee. For instance, if you reserved a guaranteed
outside cabin on the upper deck, that cabin could be anywhere
on the upper deck. You will generally be assigned a specific
cabin and cabin number during embarkation; occasionally you
will be notified of your cabin number in advance.

| What are inside, outside, balcony,
verandah and suites? |
Inside (interior) cabins do not, while outside (ocean view)
cabins have a porthole/window.
Balcony & verandah are cabins, which have a private balcony/verandah
these cabins can also be classed as premium staterooms to.
Suites are the staterooms with a private verandah (mostly)
these rooms can also have a separate lounge, wet bar and large
bathrooms. Suites come in all different sizes from 200sqf
to the size of a large apartment (1000sqf+) Size of cabins
can be different on every cruise line and category so always
check first to make sure you like the size of the room. Balconies
are the best way to cruise, cost and size will let you have
a private balcony for the cost just above an outside (ocean
view) cabin.
